Ampex has a combined 45 years of Fund of Hedge Funds experience.

Lucien Geldzahler, is the head portfolio manager at the investment company. Lucien has many years of experience trading and allocating to alpha return investment strategies. He is the founder of Ampex Ltd and is responsible for sourcing managers, strategy due diligence, portfolio construction and risk management.

 

From 1998 to 2003, Lucien was an initiator of Hi-Tech companies in the telecommunication field. Previously, he was a principal in an Investment Banking Company, which created a PIPE Fund (Private Investment in Public Entities traded at NASDAQ) and also served as director in several public companies traded at NASDAQ.

From 1981 to 1988, Lucien was commercial director of a medium–size military avionic company. He began his career as Senior Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand in Brussels, Belgium.

 

Education: Lucien holds an MBA, MSC in Engineering Management and a BSC in Industrial Engineering from The RUCA University, Belgium. Academic Publication: Deficit of the US Balance of Payments and Means to Reestablish Equilibrium, 1974.

Doron Cohen is a senior partner in the investment company. Doron has proven senior management experience in finance, operations and marketing, and has strong quantitative skills.

From 2016, Doron is managing a boutique investment firm offering strategic solutions in research, risk, regulation and marketing to clients including hedge funds and family offices.

Between the years 1992 to 2016 Doron was the Research Director at Gems, a Fund of Funds firm that managed in excess of $7B, primarily in Hedge Funds. He managed a team of 25 analysts and designed the research due diligence process. Doron's relationships are extensive and personal in the hedge fund world, that allows him access to the highest quality buy-side research.

Education: Doron has received his undergraduate degree in Australia in Political Science, and a Masters Degree in Business/Finance from Boston University.
